WHAT IS REBORN?
REBORN by Edelweiss offers a unique service to pianists and piano owners. Upgrade your piano with our full restoration service and fitting MyEdelweiss self-play complete with a dedicated device and a starter library of modern and classical music.
Our REBORN takes your piano and re-invents it into a modern masterpiece. As well as case refinishing and replacing mechanisms we are also able to re-work your piano to suit your interior with a choice of veneers and colour combinations.
We have a range of services to suit your requirement from full restoration to self-play upgrades.
To evaluate your requirements and piano suitability we will need to undertake a physical assessment of your piano. A full report and quotation will be provided. We require a non-refundable deposit of £150 to conduct this report. The fee is deductible from your quotation if you proceed with the suggested works. All of our services and prices include collection and return of your piano within the UK.
Our restorations and self-play system are only compatible with acoustic or string pianos. We can upgrade your self-play systems to MyEdelweiss, which is playable by the dedicated app.

If you do not own a piano or your piano is not suitable for self-play and restoration works then view our designer collections of self-play pianos ranging from uprights and concert grands to the world’s smallest baby grand.
For more than four decades, our family has been designing, creating and restoring the world’s most exquisite custom pianos.
1066 Pianos began in 1975 by physicist and concert piano tuner John Roy Norman and cabinet maker Harold Francis.
Combining artistic virtuosity, scientific precision an affinity for musicianship, they embraced the craft of piano making.
Now in our third generation, based in Cambridgeshire, UK, 1066 Pianos have expanded under the leadership of restoration specialist Chris Norman and is now known as REBORN by Edelweiss Pianos.
