The inspiration and design of this commission was led by Amibka Hinduja Macker from Impeccable Imaginations who penned the delightful curves and form. The Edelweiss Goldfinch Studio then took this design and painstakingly morphed it around a real acoustic piano – still maintaining the intrinsic beauty of the form – before it was handcrafted and brought to life by the artisans at Edelweiss Pianos in Cambridge, UK. This is a truly 4-dimensional work of art, the live acoustic music adding the extra artistic dimension.
To be unveiled at the Royal Victoria and Albert Museum, London, on Wednesday 18th October, 2023.

WHO IS GOLDFINCH?
Goldfinch is the most exclusive division of Edelweiss, here an Edelweiss is taken beyond its standard shape and form, and the fantastical realm of sculptural art is entered. Access into this unique area is by invitation only, for clients or professionals that want to engage in the beyond world, to tread a path that maybe hasn’t been trodden before, to create something that hasn’t been seen before. This is a paradise where you can dare to dream and let your imagination run loose, an environment where almost anything is possible… restricted only by your imagination and possibly the law of gravity.
